BREAKING NEWS!!  We're into 2013. I've just been looking at the new code of conduct that the Guild of Master Chimney Sweeps have published jointly with N.A.C.S. As a Guild Chimney Sweep we have this drilled into us right from the start. It is extremly important that the person you hire to sweep your chimney has the right level of expertise to not only leave your chimney clean, but to inform you of any potential problems. I don't have the Code of Conduct up here yet but it can be viewed on the Guild website. My wife Valerie is now running the office from home. She is very busy but does answer most calls immediately. It's always good to catch up with other sweeps and listen to thier stories. The exhibtion was excellent and as ever I came away with a few more bits of modern technology to make life that little bit better.
